Please Share The Road

Cyclists are sons, daughters, mothers and fathers. By showing common courtesy and respect on the road, we can ensure the two-way street is a safe street for all. Video created in partnership with the Share the Road Cycling Coalition and CAA.

Your Clipless Pedal And Shoe Headquarters!

Did you know that one of the best ways to ride more efficiently is to use clipless pedals and compatible cycling shoes? They work as a system, connecting your feet to the pedals so that you can apply power throughout the entire pedal stroke, not just when you’re pushing down. They’re easy and fun to use too. We have a wide selection and would enjoy helping you go clipless!

Today's Cycling Tip

Ordinary Sunglasses Aren't Good For Cycling: Here's Why - When you're riding a bike, the forward angle of your body causes your eyes to "look up" slightly. The frame and lens design of regular sunglasses, even eyewear designed for other sports, often obstructs your view when you're on a bike. Cycling eyewear provides a higher and wider field of view so that you can easily see farther in front and in your peripheral vision to give you more response time for obstacles and hazards you may encounter. Cycling eyewear also minimizes lens fogging, and some companies offer interchangeable lenses to improve your vision when conditions go from sunny to cloudy to dark.

Wrenchy Says, Avoid Tire Trouble!

Folks, when it comes to bike tires, the old saying, "bald is beautiful" is all wrong. Take Wrenchy's advice:

  1. Always top off the air before rides
  2. Watch the tread for bald spots and for casing threads showing through
  3. Inspect sidewalls for any signs of fraying or decay
  4. Ride safe! Replace bad tires ASAP
